The function of the Board of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine is twofold; to license Doctors of Oriental Medicine in New Mexico who meet the eligibility requirements, and to help to protect the public by enforcing the provisions of the New Mexico Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Practice Act.
