About:
New Mexico's Permanent Endowment Funds are assets which represent the depletion of the State's natural resources and are intended to provide ongoing and growing benefits for all New Mexicans, both today and in the future.
The State Investment Council will manage these Funds optimally, working to maximize returns within acceptable levels of risk, so as to insure future generations receive the same or greater benefits as current beneficiaries. Their goal is to professionally and ethically invest the Funds, so as to generate benefits over time while also providing a current revenue source for the State's general fund.
