Cabinet members serve at the Governor's discretion and together form a constructive advisory board in assisting the Governor's in running the affairs of state, with reporting duties based on their respective agencies. Currently, the Governor’s Cabinet is comprised of Secretaries and Directors of nearly thirty agencies each of whom deal with particular issues the Governor deems as an important part of the overall health of our state and its people.

Katherine Miller, Secretary
Department of Finance and Administration
Governor Bill Richardson appointed Katherine Miller as Cabinet Secretary of the Department of Finance and Administration in April 2006. She had previously served as director of the Mortgage Finance Authority as well as Deputy Chief of Staff of Policy and Projects under Governor Richardson. Secretary Miller has extensive experience in local, state and federal government finance and policy and has worked in the private sector managing finance programs and government contracts. |
