On February 12, 2023, the Honorable J. Paul Taylor passed away at the age of 102. Representative Taylor served the State and his community in the New Mexico House of Representatives for eighteen years as the “conscience of the Legislature.” A longtime educator, Representative Taylor was known for championing New Mexico’s people and culture. Representative Taylor is a true state treasure, and his legacy of service will endure.
